I got a call from someone saying they worked for Sky’s tech team, telling me my internet was slow. As soon as I said it was fine and I wasn’t falling for their trick, they just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, loads of noise in the background saying he was from Openreach. Definitely felt like one of those dodgy scam calls.

Got a call from someone pretending to be a BT Openreach engineer, but I’ve never even signed up with them. When I said I don’t use BT, they just ended the call. They rang me a second time, so I asked nicely for them to take my number off their list, and they hung up again. Definitely best to block this number - feels like they’re targeting people who might fall for it. #scam #scammer #blockthisnumber

Had the same experience as others here, got a call supposedly from BT Openreach. I decided to mess around a bit before ringing them back. When I dialled the number, the bloke on the other end was really aggressive and started threatening me. Quite shocking!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent warning me about some strange activity on my router. Asked her to confirm my internet provider and suddenly she just ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

I got a call and there was loads of noise like a big party going on behind the person. They asked how I was, said they were James from Sky, but then just burst out laughing. I told them I was hanging up and ended the call.

someone rang me pretending to be from sky and said i needed to install some remote access program, but i just ended the call instead of doing what they said. afterwards i phoned sky myself and they told me it’s definitely a scam.

I picked up and could hear some background noise, but then the caller just disconnected without saying anything.

The guy had an Indian accent and there was loads of racket in the background, sounded like a busy call center rather than a party. He began going on about some problem with my "connection." The moment I threw a straight question at him, he just dropped the call.
