I received a flurry of six calls on New Year’s Day back in 2019, stretching from 10:53 in the morning to 6:05 in the evening. Thankfully, I managed to get them blocked through BT. I thought I’d give the number a ring today, but to my dismay, I found out that their service is currently unavailable. What a bother!

I received a call from this number at 16:29 on the 1st of January 2019, right on our home phone. An Indian/Pakistani woman was on the line, purporting to offer some sort of deal with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), which, mind you, is a complimentary service we’re already signed up with! She started pressing me for card details, claiming the expiry date for the ‘supposed’ card associated with them runs out in 2019. As soon as I sensed something fishy, I mentioned I would look up the TPS contact number online and ring them directly-more to get her off my back than anything. She became quite insistent; however, when I stood my ground, she abruptly terminated the call without so much as a farewell!

The person on the other end wanted to chat, but I told them they had the wrong person. To be honest, I couldn’t make out a thing they were saying, so I hung up. In the past three days, this number has called me a staggering twelve times. I managed to pick up once and spoke to an Indian lady, who was clearly up to no good.
