The caller was a woman with an Indian or Pakistani accent, saying she was offering some deal through the Telephone Preference Service, which we’re already signed up to and it’s free! She asked for card info, mentioning a card supposedly linked to them expiring in 2019. I had a bad feeling it was a scam, so I told her I’d check the TPS number online and get back to her. She got a bit pushy but when I didn’t give in, she just hung up, no goodbye or anything!
