Got a call from some Indian bloke claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, pushing some unbelievable deal on a new iPhone 13. They clearly had no clue what time it was in London, despite pretending to be local. When I asked for their exact location, they rattled off the full Carphone Warehouse address, postcode and all. I just ended up messing about with them for ages - a solid 25 minutes of pure entertainment. The address they gave, somewhere on Portal Way, is pretty close to Wormwood Scrubs prison. Funny thing is, none of the sales folks or managers I spoke to at Carphone Warehouse had ever heard of Wormwood Scrubs, which supposedly was right next door to where these jokers claimed to be calling from. Try to top my 25 minutes wasted chatting with these absolute muppets!
