I received a call at 08:23 on the 4th of February, 2017. The gentleman on the other end, who had a distinct Asian accent, claimed he was reaching out from BT Internet. He mentioned that hackers had potentially infiltrated my internet connection, which, in turn, could have repercussions for my computer. When I inquired about his credentials, in order to verify his claims with BT, he abruptly hung up. I attempted to ring the number back, but it simply kept ringing with no answer. Upon contacting BT directly, they confirmed that none of their staff were in touch that morning, labelling the call a fraudulent attempt.

Its TalkTalk calling me like mad, sometimes four times in just one hour! When I call them out on it, they just hang up, then they’re back ringing again about ten minutes later. Proper scam, if you ask me! Plus, their English isn’t great either.

This week, there has been a rather persistent caller - five times in total, all at the crack of dawn, roughly around eight o’clock. Each time, it’s been someone with an Asian accent, either a man or a woman, and they just don’t seem to take a hint. We’ve informed them repeatedly that we're not customers of Talk Talk, but rather than taking that on board, their attitude becomes quite off-putting and discourteous when they realise we’re onto their little game. It's quite infuriating, to say the least!

For the last week, our home phone has been ringing at least 3 or 4 times a day with calls from someone who sounds Asian, either a man or woman, saying they’re from TalkTalk.
