I had a rather dodgy experience with a caller claiming to be from Microsoft, supposedly based in READING. This person tried to trick me into following instructions that would give them access to my computer. Their real goal? To plant malware and then push some overpriced virus protection on me. It’s all a total scam, so steer clear! Just tell them to take a hike!
