I got a call from a woman saying she was calling on behalf of BT. She told me multiple people had apparently logged onto my wifi router and said she’d reveal who and how to fix it. It sounded fishy, especially since the number showed as a mobile and her accent was like those Indian call centres. I told her I was just about to head out, and she asked when she could ring me again. I said I’d call her instead, then she went and asked if I promised I would! That caught me off guard - never heard that before.
