So this number called me saying they were from Vodafone and claimed they could slash my phone bill by 30 to 50 percent. They asked if I wanted to hear more and told me to wait. But since I’m not even a Vodafone customer, I told them that and ended the call. Later, they tried to ring me again, but I just blocked the number straight away.

They called with a really strong Indian accent, and you could hear a bunch of office noise in the background. The person claimed to be from autocall, saying they were following up on some complaints. Never heard that before, definitely a scam.

Somebody rang saying they were from O2’s Promotions team giving me a 40% drop on my monthly bills. When I asked them for their number to check it out online, they got really annoyed. Pretty sure it was a scam in the end.
