3 yearsI’ve cut off communication with a chap who sounded like he had a foreign accent claiming to be from Sky, as he was attempting to fraudulently get hold of my banking information.Sky3 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be "Mark," sounded Asian and his English was pretty rough, definitely not posh at all. Honestly, I think he was trying to pull a fast one on me. Weirdly, he asked me to confirm my own name - like, how does he not know that already if he's supposed to be from my phone company? When I called him out on it, he got all shirty, started accusing me of being racist and even threatened to chuck me "behind the bars" or whatever that means. Proper dodgy and made no sense at all.Mark3 yearsThis number keeps ringing me, even though I’ve made it clear that I haven't been an O2 customer for more than 15 years and no longer hold an account with them. I attempted to block their calls, but they simply switch to a different number. It’s high time someone took action against these companies that sell personal data.3 yearsI keep picking up when this number rings, but the person on the other end just drops the call straight away without a word.3 yearsThey spoke with a horrible English accent that wasn’t UK at all. No doubt, it’s definitely a scam.3 yearsSomeone rang me up claiming to be from Sky, but I wasn’t convinced it was legit.Sky3 yearsTotal con job.3 yearsReceived a call, and there was a bloke crooning away on the other end!3 yearsI received a call from someone purporting to be from o2, and after I politely declined to share a verification code, they started bombarding me with calls from different numbers. Quite unnervingly, the person on the other end began getting very worked up and even shouted at me when I indicated that I wasn't interested in engaging with unsolicited callers. They went as far as threatening to terminate my o2 account simply because I refused to respond to their demands. It's absolutely astonishing how aggressive these cold callers can be!3 yearsI received a rather dubious call from a chap named Mark, who spoke with a South Asian accent. He alleged he was representing Vodafone and tempted me with an enticing offer of a 45% reduction on my bill for the coming two years. Instantly, my instincts kicked in, and I suspected it was a scam. When I expressed my interest, he then asked for my name and wanted to run some sort of security verification. I pointed out that he had placed the call, so he ought to know whom he was contacting. I even asked him to validate his credentials with Vodafone, which prompted him to promptly end the call. Definitely smells like a con-stay vigilant, everyone!MarkVodafone3 yearsI answered the call with a cheery “hello”, only to be met with silence followed by disconnection. When I called back, the same thing happened - cut off mid-conversation. Seems like it could be one of those individuals who prey on those they suspect might be an easy target.3 yearsI didn't pick up on any sound at all.Submit Your Own Report (020 3479 9931)
