Honestly, I think he was trying to pull a fast one on me. Weirdly, he asked me to confirm my own name - like, how does he not know that already if he's supposed to be from my phone company? When I called him out on it, he got all shirty, started accusing me of being racist and even threatened to chuck me "behind the bars" or whatever that means. I told him, “If it’s you who called, surely you should already know who you’re speaking to?” I challenged him to prove he was actually from Vodafone and then he just ended the call.
