They insisted I provide my personal and security details in order to supposedly secure a “brand new phone for my account.” However, when I mentioned that I already had the latest device, they began probing about other accounts in my household and their providers. The conversation took a turn for the worse when I refused to divulge any information, and the individual became rather curt and impolite.
