They called me "instant claim refund" or something along those lines. From what little info they gave, it seemed like they were working off bits from a company that doesn’t even exist anymore. Basically, they're a middleman for some claims outfit. They asked for details about a no win no fee claim, and the next thing you know, they're trying to charge 30% plus VAT. Bit sketchy if you ask me.

Some bloke rang me, claiming he could help me get a refund from a scam company I supposedly paid. He couldn’t say what company it was or how he got my phone number. It felt like he was fishing for info. When I mentioned I’m on the TPS list and that they should check it before ringing, he got quite rude, telling me I had “an attitude”. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently none were available to sort it out.
