Received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, attempting to hawk a mobile contract. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

Complete and utter fraud. Someone phoned up claiming to be from OpenReach, insisting they were going to disconnect our internet for a whopping 72 hours because our IP address was public, which they said was against GDPR regulations. When I suggested they should just make our IP address private since they're supposedly the owners of the internet, they replied that it wasn't their job. Instead, they told me I had to download some software on my laptop to sort it out myself. Honestly, steer clear of whatever nonsense they’re peddling!
