I have absolutely no clue who that was, since they never bothered to leave a voicemail. Seriously, which British company rings you up but then doesn’t say a word? It feels like some kind of automated system just testing if the number is active or something.

They called me asking for my card info before I'd even said yes to extending the warranty on my washing machine. But I wasn't fooled since my warranty was still valid, and I’d already paid extra for an extended cover when I got it. Absolutely dodgy, definitely scammers.

Got a call today from the same number, 19/11/19, asking if I wanted to extend my washing machine warranty. The thing is, the warranty had just expired. When I mentioned the washer was already here when we moved in, and it was actually given to us by the housing association, the caller started dodging my questions. At first, I thought it might be the housing association since they knew the exact brand of the machine. But when they asked for my card info, I just hung up straight away.

They kept ringing all morning, like five times, but I just didn't answer. In the end, I had to block the number.

Today, at around 11:35 on 19/11/19, I got a call from the number 0203476 9206. They asked if I wanted to renew my dishwasher guarantee, claiming it expired today. I did recall something about this, so had a look at my documents and saw I actually renewed the cover back in June, on the 19th. Should I bother calling them back or just leave it? Cheers.
