I received a phone call from a woman who claimed she was fundraising for an organisation named DogsTrust. It appears I might have inadvertently provided my number after completing a questionnaire on Facebook about them. However, I’m quite sceptical about their credibility as a fundraising entity. As our conversation progressed, she suddenly acted as if she couldn’t hear me and abruptly ended the call. I find it hard to believe that she genuinely lost connection, especially since my phone has always had a strong signal. To be frank, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was some sort of scam, potentially aimed at extracting my bank details.

I got loads of voicemail robocalls from them, but I only caught bits like "mortgage, claim, Dogs Trust" and some long reference number, then it told me to press 1 to hear it again.
