Got a call from some bloke called Jacob Scott who said my washing machine warranty had expired. I reckon it’s linked to a call I got earlier this week from a UK Choice number, which wasn’t local. Also, I got another call from 02875008309 saying they were lowering the price of my TV protection plan - which is rubbish because I don’t have one. Pretty sure they’re just fishing for my bank info. No doubt, it’s a scam.

Got a call about my Bosch washing machine warranty running out, which is weird coz I've never owned a Bosch washer. They asked for my husband by name, and when he answered, he told the bloke to check his info properly before calling back. He made it clear not to ring again as it was definitely a scam.

I got a call where at first there was a bit of a pause before a man spoke, and I heard some kind of music before he started. He knew my full name and address and said he was calling about a washing machine warranty that supposedly expired today. Thing is, I don’t even have a warranty like that. When I questioned how he got my info, he got aggressive and snapped, saying something like "it’s almost the end of the day and if you’re not ready..." which made me cut the call off. He spoke very formally but was quite sharp and bossy. It left me feeling uneasy and pretty annoyed. I tried ringing back but the number only allows outgoing calls. I’m worried about older or vulnerable folks getting caught out by this, so I’m planning on reporting it to the police.

I got a call from someone who already had my full name and address, saying my Bosh washing machine warranty was about to run out. It turned out to be a scam. Before that, I had another call from a different number that also knew my details. They asked a few questions, like what brand my washing machine was (I lied and said Bosh and that it was only a year old). Then they started pushing hard with loads of questions, like whether I used TalkTalk or BT, and if not, which provider I had. I didn’t feel comfortable and just ended the call.

Yesterday afternoon, this number rang me up about my washing machine warranty being about to expire. I told the bloke my machine's quite old and I’ve never bothered with any warranty, then just ended the call. Then, whaddya know, at 3 in the afternoon today, the phone rings again. Some guy called Harry, same story about the warranty. I told him I already had a call the day before, and he starts saying it wasn’t from his company yesterday! 😂 Told him to quit calling, hung up, and got on with my day. Just like a few other folks, I got a call about some 'machine' at my place and that my 5-year warranty was up. They couldn’t actually say what machine they meant, which was a bit fishy. The guy was really impolite too - when I asked him to remove me from their records, he replied with something like “maybe, depends if I feel like it.” Total scam. Got a call on 22nd November 2017 from someone saying a washing machine warranty was approved just the day before, and that a direct debit was active now. I told them I never agreed to any warranty or called about it. When I asked for his number, he said it was 0800 0882943, but that number didn't show up on my caller ID.
