Got a call from some bloke called Jacob Scott who said my washing machine warranty had expired. I reckon it’s linked to a call I got earlier this week from a UK Choice number, which wasn’t local. Also, I got another call from 02875008309 saying they were lowering the price of my TV protection plan - which is rubbish because I don’t have one. Pretty sure they’re just fishing for my bank info. No doubt, it’s a scam.

Got a call about my Bosch washing machine warranty running out, which is weird coz I've never owned a Bosch washer. They asked for my husband by name, and when he answered, he told the bloke to check his info properly before calling back. He made it clear not to ring again as it was definitely a scam.

I received a rather dubious call recently. There was a noticeable pause before a chap finally came on the line, and some rather loud music played beforehand. He knew my name and address, which was quite alarming, and claimed he was contacting me regarding my washing machine warranty, which supposedly expired today. The catch? I don’t even have such a warranty. When I inquired about how he obtained my information, his tone shifted dramatically; he became somewhat aggressive, saying, “We’re nearing the end of the day and if you’re not ready...” At that point, I swiftly ended the call. He had a polished, albeit commanding, manner that left me feeling quite unsettled. I attempted to ring back, but it appears the number is only set up for outgoing calls. This raises serious concerns for those who might be more vulnerable; I believe it’s best to alert the authorities about this.

I received a call from someone who seemed to know my full name and home address. They claimed to be contacting me regarding the warranty for my Bosch washing machine that’s almost a year old and nearing its expiration. I suspect this is all just a con!

I got a call from someone who already had my full name and address, saying my Bosh washing machine warranty was about to run out. It turned out to be a scam. Before that, I had another call from a different number that also knew my details. They asked a few questions, like what brand my washing machine was (I lied and said Bosh and that it was only a year old). Then they started pushing hard with loads of questions, like whether I used TalkTalk or BT, and if not, which provider I had. I didn’t feel comfortable and just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Zanussi about my washing machine warranty running out. Bit confusing really, since my washer is a Hotpoint and it's been in use for about a decade. Do I need a warranty? Nah, I reckon it’s better to just get a new machine instead!

Received a call yesterday afternoon from this number regarding my washing machine warranty expiration. I informed the caller that my appliance is several years old and I’ve never taken out insurance on it, then I hung up. To my astonishment, at 3 PM today, the phone buzzed again. It was the same bloke, claiming to be Harry, back at it about the washing machine warranty. I reminded him that I'd already spoken to someone yesterday, but he insisted it wasn’t his company that had contacted me. Quite amusing, really! I told him to refrain from calling me again, then placed the phone down and got on with my day. I checked back when the line went quiet.

Just like a few other folks, I got a call about some 'machine' at my place and that my 5-year warranty was up. They couldn’t actually say what machine they meant, which was a bit fishy. Everything I have is well under 4 years old, so it’s obviously made up. Plus, the person on the phone was quite rude. Wouldn’t bother with them.

Got a call saying my washing machine warranty was up. They claimed I'd paid extra for an extra 3 years when I bought it and now needed to pay again. When I said no and didn’t want to give them my bank info, the person on the other end got really nasty and hung up on me. Proper rude behaviour.

I received a call on the 27th of November, 2017, at 12:09, from a chap with a decidedly English accent attempting to hawk a warranty for my washing machine at a cost of £65 each year. Strangely enough, he didn’t bother to inquire about the make or the age of the appliance, which raised some serious red flags for me. It smacked of a scam aimed at fishing for my financial information. We decided against pursuing this offer, clearly a rather shady business operation. They even mentioned the telephone number 0800 08820943 during the conversation.

This number just called my home phone saying my washing machine warranty was about to run out. When I asked them what brand I had, they suddenly claimed they didn’t have that info. The guy was really impolite too - when I asked him to remove me from their records, he replied with something like “maybe, depends if I feel like it.” Total scam. Don’t waste your time chatting with them!

I received a call from this number on the 27th of November, 2017, at around 12:09. The chap on the other end had a distinctly British accent and was attempting to peddle a warranty for a washing machine at a cost of £65 annually. Strangely enough, he never inquired about the brand or the age of the machine, which raised my suspicions. It’s glaringly clear that this is some sort of scam aimed at fishing for financial information. We decided to avoid getting embroiled in it, as it all seemed rather suspect. They also mentioned the number 0800 08820943 during the call.

On the 22nd of November, 2017, I received a call from someone insisting that they had secured a warranty for my washing machine the previous day and that a direct debit had been arranged. However, I promptly informed them that I hadn't received any such call and certainly hadn't provided any consent for a warranty. When I inquired about his contact number, he provided an 0800 number, 0800 0882943, but it didn’t match the incoming caller ID at all. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call saying my washing machine warranty was up. They claimed I had no current warranty and offered to sign me up for an extra three years if I gave them my bank info. I told the bloke he was mad if he thought I’d hand over my bank details. I also made it clear not to ring me again, especially as this was on my landline which is on the TPS list. I’m definitely reporting the number to them.

I got a call today about my washing machine, supposedly to discuss renewing the warranty for another year. I told them I never had a warranty on it and suspected they were trying to scam my bank info. The person insisted, “Did I say you’d paid for a warranty before?” I asked how I could renew something I never took out. Then they claimed I had a five-year manufacturer’s warranty that was about to run out, which I know isn’t true. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. This number’s definitely blocked now.

Since last Thursday, they've rung me about four times but never dropped a message. I've got this call blocker that makes them say their name first, but each time they've just hung up straight away, so I'm pretty sure it's some sort of auto dialler.

Got a call about renewing my washing machine warranty, but it felt dodgy. They said my warranty had just run out and offered to continue the contract for me. When I mentioned it sounded like a scam and asked for more info, they just cut me off straight away. Definitely trying to fish for my bank details.

I was keen on extending my washing machine's warranty, so I had a chat with a chap who had my information. Naturally, I inquired about how he came by my details, and he mentioned it was sourced from a third party. I pointed out that my machine is a decade old, meaning the warranty expired nine years back. Regardless, he persisted in his attempt to sell me a warranty. I reiterated my lack of interest and eventually ended the call.

The voice on the other end had a distinctly British vibe. They were prattling on about extending the warranty for my washing machine. They seemed to know my name, address, and all sorts of personal details. It struck me as odd, especially since my number is ex-directory. I couldn't help but wonder if they'd gleaned all that info from other dubious callers who had somehow stumbled upon the same details!

Got a call on my landline from this number earlier. The bloke asked for my partner by their name, so I wondered who it was and asked. He said he was Alex and wanted to talk about a washing machine that had been installed, even gave our full address before just hanging up suddenly. Pretty odd!

I got a call but nothing was left on my voicemail. I use a call filter that makes callers say who they are before it lets me pick up, so obviously any robo calls can’t get past that. Seems like just another spam call or something I don’t want to deal with.
