This number has rung me a few times over the past week, but I never picked up since I didn't know it. Just now, I got a message telling me to call someone at this same number about my EE account. I decided to call EE's customer service myself, and they told me it definitely wasn't from them.

I kept getting calls and texts about some Clare Smith and an EE renewable contract. Since my contract was ending, I assumed it was really EE reaching out. But when I finally spoke to them, it became clear they're just a company trying to grab my contract, not actually EE. I've spoken to EE myself and they confirmed it. These lot now ring me a couple of times daily, without fail. I've blocked their number, but still notice missed calls from them. Told them to quit calling me ages ago, but they just carry on.

I received a message very similar to the one someone else mentioned, supposedly from Claire Smith. The funny thing is, I don’t even have an EE account. The text came from 07786 201091 in my case.

Got a message from 07786200553 telling me to ring Claire Smith at 02034766978 about my EE account. After reading some of the comments here and on other sites, I'm not planning to reply. Still a bit worried tho, coz they actually used my name in the text!

I never pick up numbers I don’t know, no matter what. If it looks dodgy, I just block the number straight away.

Picked up the phone and for a bit all I got was dead silence and an echo sound. I said "Hello? Who's this?" and then they just ended the call. Blocked the number straight away but I reckon they’ll just switch to a different one soon enough. Would be great if there was a proper way to put an end to these annoying calls for good.

I got a message telling me to call this number, and it kinda seemed like it might be from EE. But I reckon it’s probably some company trying to sell me an upgrade under false pretences. I’m not gonna bother calling back, as I don’t really trust businesses that begin by being sneaky.
