I've been inundated with messages and phone calls about a Clare Smith and an EE renewable contract. Initially, I assumed it was just EE reaching out since my contract was up for renewal. However, after chatting with someone, it became clear that it’s a different company trying to snag my business, and they’re definitely not affiliated with EE - I confirmed that. I’d recommend steering clear of them. To make matters worse, they ring me twice daily without fail. I've blocked the number, but it still shows up on my call log. I even told them to cease their incessant calling!

I recently received a message identical to what someone else mentioned, claiming to be from Claire Smith. The thing is, I don’t even hold an account with EE! Interestingly, the message was sent from the number 07786 201091. Quite the peculiar situation, isn’t it?

Noticing various remarks on this and other sites, I'm hesitant to return the call. What raises my eyebrows, though, is that they mentioned my name directly! Quite unsettling, really.

Dodgy calls or outright scams, I won't pick up the phone for numbers I don't know, no exceptions! I just go ahead and block them straight away.

I picked up the phone and was met with a rather unnerving silence for a couple of moments. I then inquired, “Could you please tell me who’s calling?” but before I knew it, the line went dead. I've since blocked the number, but I have a hunch they’ll just switch to a different one. It’d be marvellous if there was a more effective method to put an end to these annoying calls!
