I got a call claiming to be from BT offering unlimited calls anytime. They seemed to know some stuff about me at first. I told them I was already with BT and happy with my deal. Then they said goodbye and mentioned they’d send me more info to check out. Later, I rang BT directly, and they told me it definitely wasn’t them ringing about that. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some place claiming they do free calls to landlines over the weekend. Seemed like it was a call centre from overseas or something.

I answered the phone and it just cut out on me. Looks like one of those telemarketers using an auto dialler - if no one answers they just drop the call. When I dialled 1471, the message said the call wasn’t important and they’d try again later. Really hope they don’t bother me again. Number was 02034766026.

I've noticed that 0203 numbers can easily be bought online. However, there's a scarcity of genuine London numbers. A lot of them seem to belong to individuals from India masquerading as if they're in London.
