I'm so tired of all these calls, is there any way to stop them?

This number keeps ringing me 4 or 5 times every single day, it's driving me crazy! Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother picking up calls from numbers I don’t recognise anymore. Can’t they just give it a rest?

I rang the number back and it turned out to be USwitch, something to do with my energy bills. Don’t remember asking for anything like that, but whatever. I gave it a ring again, hit option 1 to get off their call list, typed in my number and hit the # button. Took no more than half a minute. If they start ringing again, I’ll be telling them off proper. You see, it’s really not that hard to put an end to these annoying calls!

This number keeps ringing me up ridiculously often, like two or three calls every single day, sometimes even as late as 8.45 in the evening. It’s been happening for months now and I’m absolutely sick of it. Both me and my missus are over 70 and honestly it’s not fair we have to deal with this plus all the other nuisance calls like PPI and the like that keep bothering us.
