Received a call claiming to be from customer support inquiring about my pension. When I hesitated to divulge any information and questioned how they obtained my number, the lady mentioned it came from a database. I insisted she take my number out of their system, to which she retorted that I didn’t fully understand the purpose of her call. I pointed out she had just informed me it was regarding pensions, yet she persisted with her line of questioning, saying I didn’t really know what it was about. I reiterated my request to have my number deleted, stressing that I primarily use my mobile for urgent matters. With a hint of sarcasm, she quipped about my limited use of my phone, to which I responded by asking if that bothered her. Once again, I had to press my request for the number removal.

I can't fathom why they reckon I’d be inclined to abandon a solid final salary pension scheme only to entrust my finances to some random chap ringing me out of the blue. I've already had two phone conversations with them, and I've been quite courteous in requesting they take my details off their list. Should they bother me yet again, I can't promise my charm will remain intact!

They introduced themselves as "Customer Support" and proceeded to bombard me with an array of personal inquiries regarding my pension and any recent amendments to the pension regulations. When I kindly requested that they erase my number from their records, they still persisted in probing for information. In the end, I had no choice but to hang up on them!
