Received a message claiming we had a chance to win a complimentary prize. They asked us a trio of questions, then told us to hang tight while they connected us with someone. After that, they casually mentioned that we’d need to send over about £5 for the "free gift." Ended up hanging up the call.

Just had a rather suspicious call from this number earlier today at about ten to three. As soon as we answered, there was silence on the other end before they hung up. We decided to end the call ourselves, not wanting to incur any charges for what seemed like a pointless ring. We then dialled 1471 to get the number and found this one listed. I reckon these folks are playing a dodgy game, hanging up just so you might feel tempted to call them back, likely racking up a hefty bill in the process! It’s quite the con if you ask me!
