My 85 year old uncle keeps gettin called by this bloke like three times every day, an its really messin with his sleep. He’s proper scared now. Honestly feels like it oughta be illegal or summat!

The bloke might have been called Douglas Collins. He reckoned I sounded smart, so he figured it was worth talking to me. But I told him he wasn’t that clever, especially after I asked him what part of “I don’t want to talk to you” he didn’t get.

Right from the start he used my first name, which was strange. He claimed we had a chat some time before the festive season, but when I told him I had no recollection of ever speaking to him, he acted like I was forgetful. I just ended the call. Then, out of nowhere, he rang again today and, just like before, suggested I must not be familiar with Mayfair in London. I hung up straight away. Seriously, who on earth are these people?!

Just got a call from someone called 'Douglas'. He acted quite cheeky, like he assumed I wouldn't know where Mayfair is since I’m not from London. Don’t really get what scam he’s trying to pull here, but it’s pretty irritating. Thinking if it’s even worth reporting it to the cops?

A guy named Douglas rang me claiming my husband had arranged for a call at 6. Absolute rubbish. He was really forceful and quite rude too.

Got a call earlier from a bloke named Douglas, sounded like he had a London accent. Said we had a chat last year and seemed like he knew me. I told him I had no clue who he was and just ended the call. Then he rang right back, claiming maybe the line was dodgy, and tried to keep me on the phone. I hung up again, but he didn’t give up and called once more. I told him to piss off this time. This number should seriously be tracked down and whoever is behind these annoying calls should be taken to court.
