2 monthsGot a call the other day from someone saying they were with Three, but it definitely felt dodgy.3 monthsGot a call from this number claiming to be from Three saying my SIM card was going to expire in 48 hours and I needed to sort it out right away. The guy spoke with an Indian accent and kept talking over me. I told him I was recording the call and asked if he’d ever seen those scam shows on telly because this sounded exactly like one. He kept telling me to "shut up" over and over. I told him if he was really trying to help, he’d have better manners, so it was obvious he was just a scammer. Still he kept shouting "shut up, shut up." Absolutely ridiculous!3 monthsGot a call from a number, but the person never said which company they were from, just asked how I was doing with an Asian accent. I ended it quickly since my phone flagged it as a potential scam. No idea who it really was.5 monthsThis number 020 3475 3849 has rang me twice today. I blocked it but had saved it as "Vogo Tours?", so no idea what's going on really. Just wondering, if we share info about numbers like this but aren’t sure if it’s a scam, is there any way to get actual compensation if it turns out to be one? Cheers to everyone here and thanks for all the info. Also, it’d be handy if we could tick more than one box when reporting numbers and explain why - for example, sometimes calls are annoying but we can’t say if they’re scams or not 🤷🏼♀️.5 monthsGot a call from someone saying they were with Virgin or O2, claiming they could slash my bill and send me freebies if I gave them my email and details. I played along and gave them a made-up email with a rude word in it, then they just cut off the call. Classic scam attempt.VirginO2Submit Your Own Report (020 3475 3849)
