When I asked him to give me some info about my account, he just cut the call straight away. However, they attempted to pull a fast one by generating a ‘forgotten password’ request on my account. Shortly after, I got a legitimate text from O2 containing a security code. They had the audacity to try and persuade me that this was the code needed to activate the discount and asked me to share it with them over the phone.
