7 yearsI got a call from someone called Amanda Johnson who said I had to ring her back straight away, but when I tried calling her number, it just went to voicemail saying she wasn’t available.Amanda Johnson7 yearsI got a call from 02081338591, some woman called Karen Jones from Thomson Law Itd, based at 207 Regent Street London. She told me that I had to cough up £695 in advance if I wanted a refund from Club Class timeshare. The weird part was, she said payment couldnt be by credit card, only by bankers draft. Nothing but a total con if you ask me!Karen JonesThomson Law LtdRegent StreetLondonClub Class Timeshare Company7 yearsReceived a call from 02081338591, a woman named Karen Jones claiming to be from Thomson Law. She told me about an address, 207 Regent Street, and gave a Companies House number 09119648. I checked it out, and while the address and number were legit, the company name was actually different now. She wanted me to pay £695 to pass on to trustees, promising I'd get it back with some money owed from Club Class, the timeshare lot. Big thanks to everyone here who warns that this might be a scam - it really helped me see through it!Karen JonesLawRegent StreetCompany House8 yearsI got a call from 02034750256 on my landline about some Western Union refund thingy. They said there was a case in the US regarding payments made between 2004 and January 2017, but I haven’t used Western Union at all during those years. Has anyone got any idea which bank account they’re asking to send the £650 to? They’re pushing me to do a bank transfer quickly. From what I’ve read here, it sounds like a scam or something dodgy to me.Western Union8 yearsI keep getting calls from 02034750256 about a supposed refund for money I gave to a firm called Excalibur, who sold me timeshare points. They claim to be from a company named Thomson Law Ltd, based at 207 Regent Street, London W1B 3HH. The person calling says his name is David Brogan. They insist you send a deposit to their bank account first, promising to send a bank draft through DHL for the refund amount. They say once you sign for the draft, your deposit will be returned within 10 days. This is exactly the same tactic Excalibur used on us, and in the end, we never saw any refund at all.ExcaliburThomson Law LtdRegent StreetLondonWTB 3HHDavid Brogan8 yearsGot a call about some kind of refund from Western Union tied to an American court case, sounds dodgy to me.
