Got a call from some woman claiming to be from Energy Saving Solutions in Dartford. She said their records showed my boiler was over ten years old and asked if that was right. I told her it was my own business and asked her to remove my number from their list, as I’m on the Telephone Preference Service and shouldn’t be getting calls like this. She just hung up after that. I’ve now reported the unsolicited call to the TPS and they’ll be looking into it.

I got a call from a lady claiming to be from Energy Saving Solutions in Dartford. She said their files indicated my boiler was more than a decade old and asked if that was right. I told her that’s private and asked her to remove my number from their list since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and shouldn’t be contacted. She just ended the call straight away. I’ve now reported this unwanted call to the Telephone Preference Service and they said they’ll look into it.

They actually knew my last name and said they were from "SS??" claiming their files showed my boiler’s more than 10 years old. She kept pushin’ and asked aggressively, "Is your boiler over ten years old?" I asked what SS stood for and she said "Energy Savings in Dartford." I'm on the Telephone Preference Service, so they shouldn’t be ringing me up at all. Plus, if they really keep tabs on people’s boiler ages without permission, that feels kinda dodgy and probably against the law. Someone vulnerable could find this really intimidating.

Annoying call. You can't block it unless you've got BT call protect or something like that. Call protect doesn't cost anything and it's honestly brilliant. Since I activated mine 6 months back, it's stopped more than 800 calls. Loads of them had legit looking UK numbers. Most were just irritating, but plenty were actually scams or fraud attempts. I'd block this one for sure, it's getting close to harassment.

Josh got my number off the electoral roll, which he probably wasn’t meant to, saying my loft insulation wasn’t up to the latest rules. Luckily, he said, their engineers would be nearby and could pop round for about an hour to check it and figure out what needed doing. I asked if he was trying to scare me, he said no. I told him he’d definitely be scaring an older person with that kind of talk. I also mentioned I’m on the TPS and he shouldn’t be calling me, sounded like nonsense to me.

I just got a call and before they even spoke they asked if I was Mr something but got my name all wrong. There was that usual noisy background like a call centre full of other annoying people. I could even hear myself echoing and asked what was going on, and she told me their “IT was having problems.” I said, “Nah, I’m done with this” and hung up straight away. Then I checked 1471 and saw loads of similar complaints. Honestly, so glad I didn’t waste time with yet another irritating scammer. I’ll be reporting it as harassment because we keep getting loads of these calls nonstop.

Answered the phone but all i could hear was some kind of mumbling like it was an office or something. So I put the number on 1572 to stop it from ringing me again.

I picked up the phone and there was nothing on the other end, but when I looked it up, it turns out the caller was from a place named "House Utopia." They're apparently ignoring the TPS rules and still calling folks who signed up to avoid such calls.

So, Steve from “House Utopia” called me about solar panels, but as soon as I asked where the company was located, he just hung up. I looked it up and yeah, the company does exist, but no idea if they're the ones behind those calls I’ve been getting. I mean, how else would he know about all the previous ringings unless he was part of it? I’ve now blocked the number.

I'm on the TPS list and my number is ex-directory, so I really don't get how they managed to ring me up. I didn't pick up, but I used 1471 to check the last caller and found out it was from 02034750076. Quite annoying!

I rang my dad to chat about his solar panels and it was the same old spiel. Just more rubbish, definitely a scam if you ask me.

Got a call earlier about some solar panel and inverter warranty they wanted to talk me through, apparently to check what I'd got. When I asked them straight-up what product they were trying to sell, the lady on the phone got a bit snappy and then just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be "House Utopia" offering a free check-up on loft insulation and the rafters. I told them my loft’s been converted, so no loft to check. They quickly said sorry and hung up. I'm on the TPS list, so really shouldn't be getting calls like this from pushy sales folk.

I had two calls from this number today, May 11th, 2018. During the first call, I wasn't available, and they didn’t leave a voicemail. The second time, I managed to answer, but it turned out to be someone chattering away to a colleague in what sounded like an office - I hardly managed to catch anything before they abruptly hung up on me. Quite peculiar!
