I received a similar call today, Wednesday the 21st, around half past five. I've never purchased insurance for my equipment. I mentioned to him that I've had it for quite a while and would only consider getting one when absolutely necessary. He quickly hung up after that.

I received an unexpected phone call from this number, with someone purporting to be from "Platinum Homecare." They mentioned that the warranty on my washing machine had lapsed. The thing is, I don’t even have a warranty for my washing machine, nor have I ever dealt with this company! What a nuisance!
