Got a call from the same number today, Wednesday the 21st around 5:30pm. I've never signed up for any equipment insurance, told the bloke I've had this stuff for ages and if it breaks, I'll just buy a new one. He quickly hung up after that.

I got a call out of the blue from this number, with someone saying they were from "Platinum Homecare." They told me my washing machine warranty had run out, but I've never had any warranty on it nor dealt with that company before! Felt pretty dodgy to me.
