Absolutely, we receive calls from these sorts as well. I reckon they’re a third party linked to the Vanquaise card! Generally, we prefer to keep our personal information away from such outside entities since they’re just relentless cold callers! Best course of action is to reach out to the company you initially dealt with and drop them a note, requesting to be removed from their contact list entirely!

I've been receiving persistent calls from this number, yet they never take the time to leave a voicemail. I'm starting to suspect it might be linked to my recent application for a Vanquis credit card that didn't go through. Ever since I applied, I've been inundated with calls on this brand-new number of mine. It's rather annoying, to say the least. It feels like these folks must be passing my information along to loan companies or something similar. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

We're constantly getting calls from this number, only for the callers to hang up as soon as we answer. It's becoming quite bothersome!

We've been incessantly pestered by this number, 08448804626, and it’s really getting on our nerves. Surely, there must be some method to put an end to these nuisances who keep ringing us!

This number has been ringing repeatedly, but each time there’s just silence on the other end. Quite odd, really!

The phone keeps going off, yet the callers never say a word.

Recently, a group reached out asking for the last four digits of our debit card and mentioned they’d ring us back on our home phone. It’s been ages and not a peep since! I've taken the precaution of transferring all funds from the debit card into our savings account. Should we be anxious about this? Can anyone actually withdraw cash simply with just those four digits?

We're getting the same call every hour, and if we don’t answer on our mobile, they try our landline instead. It’s infuriating! Nobody bothers to say a word; they just hang up. We're pretty sure it's some sort of loan company, but despite digging through our previous searches, we can’t seem to pinpoint who they are. Quite the nuisance, honestly!

I’ve received a couple of missed calls from this number, and when I attempted to return the call, it didn’t go through. Initially, they contacted my mobile, but as soon as I answered, there was total silence on the other end after a few seconds. Subsequently, my home phone rang with the same number, and again - nothing was said when I picked up. Recently, I signed up for some online services, which may have enrolled me in these third-party offers, but why reach out via phone without actually speaking? It’s clear this is some sort of scam. After perusing previous comments, it seems like we’re dealing with a bunch of thieves back at it again.

I've had the exact same experience! It rang three or four times, but when I picked up, there was utter silence. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

We’re constantly hounded by the number 08448804626, and it’s driving us completely up the wall! There’s got to be a way to put an end to these incessant calls. They’re really quite maddening!

Our lad has recently received a call from this number, claiming that the person on the other end is called STEVE JAMES? Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

I've received multiple calls from this number while we've been out of the house. We suspect it might be a loan company since we've just submitted an application. Does anyone have any insights about which loan firm it could be? I'm quite cautious as I want to avoid any potential scams.

We're experiencing the same thing too - every time we answer the phone, these callers just hang up! It's quite frustrating!

We've never taken out any loans, yet we're inundated with a relentless barrage of phone calls. I’m currently fielding calls from at least four different numbers. Strangely enough, they often reach me on my personal mobile, and a mere ten minutes after the call, I usually get a text message. They keep mentioning someone named Darren. Honestly, we're completely baffled by what this is all about.

I had a rather pleasant experience with this loan company. They assisted us in securing a loan without trying to push any ludicrous APRs on us. They truly delivered on their promises, just as they said they would!

Indeed, we've put in our application to that credit card company, and now we're receiving a plethora of those 020 numbers.

Earlier today, we received yet another barrage of phone calls from these individuals who seem to be searching for someone completely different. They even sent us a text message on our landline, which is rather odd, don’t you think? It all appears linked to loans or some sort of debt consolidation, yet we’ve never applied for any loans ourselves. This has raised alarm bells for us, as it might imply identity theft. If they dare to ring us again tomorrow, we’ll be informing them that we won’t hesitate to reach out to Trading Standards and the local constabulary. We’ve made it clear that they should remove our number from their records! After glancing at other people’s experiences, our optimism has significantly dwindled.

I’ve received numerous calls from this loan company, but every time I pick up, they just hang up! Quite baffling, really. My advice? Don’t bother calling them back, as that seems to be the whole point. At least the calls are at local rates!

They called us earlier today claiming we'd applied for a loan. I let them know this was a nuisance number and asked them to stop messaging and calling.

Have you managed to secure the loan, then?

This number has been ringing us at least ten times a day and often leaves voicemails that are completely silent. As a solution, we've installed a call blocker on our BlackBerry, which effectively prevents any unwanted calls from marketers or scammers. It's been quite effective and best of all, it didn’t cost us a penny!

I’ve been receiving constant calls from a company named Loans Direct UK. Despite our requests to remove our details from their records, they persist in bothering us with calls. We’ve decided to stop answering them altogether!
