Got into a car accident earlier and then this scammer rings me up. Proper dodgy.

Just wanted to add a couple of suggestions for anyone fed up with all these dodgy foreign scammers trying to trick vulnerable folks out of their cash, as well as pestering the rest of us. It does take a bit of effort but I’ve been reporting scam calls and texts straight to the police database (I keep the contact saved in my favourites). Sadly, it’s gonna need loads of people doing the same before there’s any proper action, but every day this site gets thousands of scam call reports. You won’t see results overnight, but if no one bothers, these scam calls will never stop.

Got two calls from this number in just an hour. They greeted me with "Hi, how are you?" right at the start. Pretty clear it was a dodgy scammer. Sorted it by blocking them.

I got a call from 02034685147 about four times. When I rang back once, it said VOLTE and I heard a queue but then it just hung up on me. Later on they called again, I picked up but they just dropped the call straight away. Definitely not a legit company or person, so I’ve blocked the number now.

SCAMMERS FROM ABROAD! Make sure to report every suspicious call or message to the official police fraud website. Just search for ‘action fraud’ and head to ‘police.uk’. Find the section on reporting phishing and carefully read all the instructions. Put in every detail about the scam, including any URLs or links you received. You don’t need to sign up or give personal info unless you suffered a financial loss. The only way the authorities can track these criminals is if we all report these incidents, no matter how small.
