2 yearsGot a call supposedly from Sky offering me a 30% discount, but I'm certain it's a scam.Sky2 yearsI had a rather odd phone call from 020 3468 3210, where a chap and a lady with Indian accents spoke to me about a supposed 20% discount on my Sky services. The woman's spiel began with the typical banter, after which she promptly mentioned passing me on to her supervisor. There was no break in the conversation - I could practically hear her hand over the receiver! The gentleman who took over straight away asked for my email address. When I pressed him on which account he meant, he insisted it was linked to all my products, but I only have their mobile service, not any television subscriptions. It felt quite off, to say the least.Sky2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were with Sky, told me I could get 30% off my bill for a whole year. Then they just hung up.Sky2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from Sky and promised me a 30% cut on my mobile bill. Then they wanted all my personal info...I just ended the call.Sky2 yearsSomeone rang up claiming they were from 3 Mobile, trying to pitch me a discount on unlimited calls and data. The background was really echoey and there was a clicking noise, like they were telling someone to jot stuff down. They asked me to slowly confirm my email, but I didn’t fall for it.3 Mobile2 yearsWatch out, this number says they're from Sky but it's definitely a scam. Pretty obvious scam from the start.2 years+44 20 3468 3210 Called me pretending to be from Sky, said they would add £35,000 to my phone bill for free?? I just ended the call. They tried ringing again but I’ve blocked the number now.Sky2 yearsI didn’t pick up ‘cos I didn’t know the number. They left a weird, echoey voicemail that was hard to understand, sounded like some dodgy call centre from India - felt like something from those Scam Interceptors shows on BBC. I’m not with Sky or O2 anyway, so for sure it was a scam try.ScamBBCSkyO22 yearsSomebody rang me saying they were from Spire Telefonica or maybe Sky Telefonica, I can't really remember. I had never come across those names before. I called them out on it and they just hung up on me. Their English was really poor, sounded like an Indian accent. Total scammers.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from 02, but as soon as I mentioned I was leaving them, they said they’d connect me to a manager. I could actually hear someone tapping towards the phone, then a quick “hello” before they started repeating the same thing a few times. I called them out and told them it was a scam, but they tried to talk over me, insisting it wasn’t. Then they just hung up. They’ve tried ringing me a couple more times since then too. Definitely a dodgy number.2 yearsGot a call earlier from someone with an American accent claiming to be William from O2. I told him I didn’t have O2 anymore, and all he said was "Oh" before just hanging up. That was it!William2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be 02, trying to trick me into giving my bank info.
