Got a call from this number today, answered and all I got was silence then some weird noise like a Dalek trapped in a kettle. They said they were from Click Insurance. They claimed I’d reached out to them about life insurance four months ago, which I never did nor asked them to ring me. They kept pushing, really persistent. Oddly enough, they knew my first name, which I only use casually. Usually, people mess up the spelling because my dad got it wrong when registering my birth. For official stuff like work and bills, I use my proper legal name. I had to be quite firm and told them to remove my details from their list, then I ended the call halfway through. It honestly felt like they were accusing me of lying!
