They've been ringing my mobile daily for the past four days. Each time, it's the same foreign chap asking if I'm near my computer. I told him I’d grab it and fire it up, then promptly hung up. I just left him waiting and eventually, he must’ve lost patience and disconnected. Quite the nuisance, really!

Had a series of persistent calls from this number, every time they kicked off the conversation with my last name, claiming my computer had been compromised and urging me to let them in to prevent fraud. They had the audacity to suggest there had been multiple attempts to breach my system and that they would take remote control of my device. When I told him I hadn’t even switched it on recently, he fell silent for a moment before abruptly cutting the line. Quite rude and extremely forceful, I would advise everyone to steer well clear of these fraudsters, regardless of how menacing they may seem.

Got a call from an asian guy saying something about my microsoft computer, so I asked him "do I even own a computer?" He went on and on about viruses on my device. I asked again if I actually had a computer, and he got angry, telling me to shut up or he’d hit me. I just said bye and ended the call. When I tried to call back to report him, my mobile had been blocked. Then I used my landline but the number wasn’t working either.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft, urging me to access my computer. Given that I’m well-versed in IT, I quickly discerned their ploy. They were attempting to coax me into allowing remote access to my device. However, I decided to humour them, which ultimately led to their frustration, and they hastily ended the call! Quite amusing, really! 😄

Received a call from this number today. I requested some identification to verify their legitimacy, and the caller claimed to be from ESOFT Services, located in Berkshire. I managed to extract quite a bit of information before revealing that my husband works in IT, managing his own computer repair service, and that our PC was perfectly fine. This seemed to provoke him, and he ended up hanging up rather abruptly, berating me for supposedly wasting his time! Beware, this chap is definitely up to no good… steer clear of letting him into your computer!

I keep getting these calls all the time. Last time my husband picked up and told the bloke with an accent that his windows were fine, saying they're all new and open and shut just right. Guess he didn’t catch the sarcasm though, because they keep ringing every single day.

I received numerous calls from this number, eight times in a single day, which is rather unsettling. They seem to know my name and were inquiring about PPI. Interestingly, if I didn’t pick up, they never bothered to leave a message. I wouldn’t recommend having any discussions with them-best to steer clear!

Sounds like a scam to me. The person on the phone was trying to get info about my device and came up with some made up excuse about my emails getting spammed. I work in IT and keep all my gear in top shape, so I just ended the call after a minute with a response that totally shut them up.

My sister’s been getting this same thing loads of times every day. She’s got a disability and doesn’t get out much. I told her to ring the non-emergency police line, but that just scared her even more. Does anyone here bank with Barclays or use EE or Sky? This number appears to be from the UK, but it connects all the way to another country. The caller wasn't very clever, saying I had an issue with my computer. Totally a scam, no doubt. This number keeps ringing me and when I pick up, there's an Asian bloke claiming to be from Windows Support saying my PC is infected. Still getting called repeatedly by a guy with an Asian accent saying he’s from Microsoft. He tried to get me to download stuff on my PC so he could get in remotely. They rang me and as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Tried calling them back but it just went straight to dead tone?

Really hard to understand, sounded like they were talking from somewhere far away. They spoke with a strong Indian accent and called a work line saying my PC had issues. I asked a few times which computer they meant, then they just hung up. Also got about 3 other calls from this number but nobody spoke when I picked up.

I’ve just had a rather bothersome call from this number. They were incredibly insistent, refusing to accept my “not interested” response. Instead of addressing my inquiries, they kept harping on about my computer being vulnerable to hacking. Eventually, I had to hang up as the caller became quite aggressive. Even though it appeared to be a UK number, the voice on the other end had a distinctly foreign accent.

There's been a surge of individuals purporting to be from Microsoft, and it’s quite clear they’re up to no good. Definitely a bunch of scammers if you ask me!

02034665131 called me earlier today 01/04/16 but dropped the call as soon as I picked up. They’ve phoned before and when I said I wasn’t sharing any details from my computer and told them to buzz off, they rang straight back! Why even bother, honestly. I told them to leave me alone and ended the call again. These folks are definitely scamming and it’s really annoying, plus risky since they’re after your personal info.

Got a call from a lady with a really strong Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft. She told me that every time I’m online, viruses are attacking my computer. She said I had to download some program straight away so she could get rid of the viruses on my machine. I told her I work with AVG so I didn’t think that was true, and then she just ended the call. About twenty minutes later, she rang back asking for my partner. I told her I’m onto her scam, and she called me a b#tch before hanging up.

Some bloke rang claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. I just told him he was talking rubbish and to jog on. I've had calls like this in the past and know MS wouldn’t be ringing me up out the blue. A pensioner in our village fell for it once and almost lost a fortune if it weren’t for his bank keeping an eye out. Watch out, these lot are no good.

Couldn’t catch the name properly, but sounded like they were from abroad and wanted to talk about something to do with MS Windows.

Got a call from these lot twice in just two days. The first was a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft, then a guy with the same type of accent said his name was John Matthews on the second call. Really left a bad feeling. I told him I knew all about this scam stuff and he definitely wasnt happy about that.

Got a call from someone saying they could fix my windows problems and asked me to get on my computer. When I asked how they got my number, all they said was I must've done some survey. The bloke had a thick Indian accent but told me his name was John Clair. Total nonsense - definitely a scam.

Yesterday, I ended up with a bunch of calls, about five in total, and then this morning by just after 9, another one popped up. They say they’re from Microsoft Windows support but honestly, don’t buy it for a second! Whenever I try to tell them to remove me from their list, they cut me off mid-sentence and hang up. It’s super annoying, and judging by their tough-to-understand accents, it’s obviously some call centre in India. Drives me mad!

This number kept calling me loads throughout the day. I finally picked up once, and it was this guy with an Indian accent struggling to say my last name right. He kept telling me there were loads of problems with my computer. Total scam, so I just ended the call. Still, the calls haven’t stopped. Proper irritating, and I can see how someone not paying attention might get caught out by it.

It appears there's a cybercriminal attempting to gain access to our laptop. We're concerned that their goal is to hold us to ransom for a sum of money in order to resolve the issue.

Got a call earlier and honestly, their accent or something made it super hard to get what they were saying. Ended up just hanging up.

Got a call from him earlier, and when I told him he was talking rubbish, he flipped it back on me and told me to get lost... Honestly, that’s the first time I’ve heard that kind of reply from one of these calls, made me chuckle! LOL

I got a call from someone claiming to be a computer hacker trying to scam me. When I told them to get lost, they actually started calling me a motherf***er. Total rubbish.
