This number keeps ringing me non stop! I got like five calls from it just yesterday, two of them back to back within a few minutes. Now it's started up again first thing this morning at 8am. Absolutely has to stop.

Got a call today at 10:43 from this number, some lady with an Asian accent claimed my computer's windows had an issue. She didn’t get very far as I gave her a proper telling off and ended the call quickly. I’m signed up to the TPS but it really doesn’t seem to make any difference!!!

I got a call from someone claiming to be “Microsoft support,” the bloke had this Indian accent but gave a very ordinary name like “James Brown.” He tried to sound legit by mentioning this code that apparently every Windows computer has, something called the "clsid code" which finishes with 00co4fd7062. Once he got me to believe him, he asked me to enter commands on my computer so he could take over it. After that, he could use my PC to send spam or even install keyloggers to steal passwords for my bank and email accounts. Proper dodgy, so watch out for that trick.

Got a call from some Indian place about my windows, they acted all clueless at first but then said I had eight windows (like windows 8 or something). They went on about there being an issue, needing a clean and that the hinges were playing up. Problem was, their yelling was so hard to get that I just gave up - they didn’t sound very friendly, if I’m honest.

Got a really pushy woman on the phone going on about my address and full name, asking who I use for internet, phone, and electricity. She also tried to sell me some insurance. Felt uneasy when she started asking for personal info like my full name again. Tried calling back, but the number’s disappeared or blocked. Now I’m worried they might try something dodgy with my details! Gonna be extra careful with my bank stuff and any post that comes through.

It looks like the number they’re using might be linked to Teleware PLC. So far today, I’ve had about five calls from these annoying lot. You can check out their details here: http://companycheck.co.uk/company/05167266#trading-addresses If you want, each time you get a call from these muppets, give their own company a ring (I don’t share the number here though). Or like I do, whenever I fill out a prepaid enquiry, I pop their details into it and end up sending junk mail or causing their own firm to deal with unwanted calls. Works quite well!

They said they’re gonna turn off my laptop within the next day if I don’t cooperate with their scam. It’s really worrying, and honestly, something needs to be done to stop these people. I bet loads of folks could easily get tricked by this.

I've gone ahead an blocked that number on my phone, using the 'Block' feature. Even newer phones usually have something like this these days. I put all annoying calls with visible numbers on the block list. If you don't get caller ID, try dialling 1471 right after the call ends to get the number, write it down and then add it to your blocked numbers.

I’m absolutely fed up with these calls. Just had major surgery not long ago and they keep ringing like they don’t care about me saying no. Does anyone know if there’s a way to block these numbers for good?

Got a call saying my server was hacked and they needed access to my computer. Been dealing with spam coming from my email lately, so a mate told me to up my internet security settings. There's no chance I'm letting some random person into my PC. They seriously need to be shut down.

So, they called me at half past eight - three times! Then again at 11.30, four times this time. Got a bit annoying, so I finally picked up. Some bloke with a thick accent said my computer was hacked or something. I just played along, pretending to type things and shout out passwords, but really it was all fake. I put the call on speaker and just kept munching my dinner and watching TV. After about 40 minutes, I told him I worked in cyber fraud investigations and couldn’t see why the passwords wouldn’t work. He hung up right away and I haven’t had a peep since. No more calls, thank goodness!

This number keeps ringing me mostly in the early hours!! I usually just ignore it but it’s getting really annoying, especially since I’m registered on the TPS - does that even stop anything?? There’s loads of people who are more trusting and could easily fall for whatever they’re trying to do. Seriously, what’s Microsoft doing to sort this out?? ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜กโš ๏ธโš ๏ธโš ๏ธ

This number rang me twice within a couple of days. Both times, I said I don’t own a laptop or computer. The first woman just said sorry and hung up, but the second guy, who sounded Indian, started arguing saying that wasn’t possible! I ended up telling him I’d report them and they’d get fined, and he even admitted he was aware of the fine! Seriously, these calls need to be shut down!

This number rang me two times on 25th June 2014, once at half past eight in the morning and again around eleven thirty. Both times, a woman with an Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft tech support, saying my Windows computer was infected with a virus. I've been getting these calls for nearly four years now and I know it's a scam. I read in the Telegraph that the operation is thought to be based in Calcutta, India. Most of the time I just tell them they’re talking nonsense and hang up straightaway, but sometimes I play along a bit until they get bored and end the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he could fix my Windows issues, this time it was about security and hacking - probably because of all the recent news stories about it. I was a bit on edge thinking maybe someone had been spying on me electronically since I’d just installed some antivirus software, but maybe it was just a coincidence. I told the guy it’s against the law to be making these annoying calls and accused him of ringing from abroad to avoid getting caught. He insisted he was calling from “Glasgow, Scotland,” but when I did a reverse lookup, the number was actually an 0203 London area code. Anyone calling from Glasgow wouldn’t say they were from “Glasgow, Scotland” like that anyway. We ended up arguing a bit, and I pointed out he clearly doesn’t know English very well because he said “reputated” instead of reputable. Also, I don’t have caller ID on my phone anymore since BT decided to start charging extra for it.

Got a call early this morning about 7.30 from someone speaking with a foreign accent claiming to be doing a UK opinion survey. I told them how ridiculous it was to call so early then just ended the call. These annoying calls keep coming all day, every day, multiple times actually. Honestly, I’m fed up with it - there really ought to be a way to put a stop to this nonsense.

Oh gosh, this number's such a pain! What I usually do is answer with a quick hello, and if nobody responds right away, I just hang up. Afterwards, I always check the caller's identity by dialing 1471. Most of the time, it's either this pesky caller again, a rival, or some other annoying telemarketer all the way from Canada.

They keep ringing me up loads, like up to 5 times a day, starting as early as 7:45 in the morning and going on till like 9:30 at night. Turns out it’s some Market Research lot, and apparently the TPS doesn’t cover this kind of thing? I’m well and truly fed up now, had a right go at the person on the line with some cheeky language. There’s gotta be a way to make these companies stop pestering us, right???

I’ve received numerous calls from this particular number, but fortunately, they’ve typically coincided with times I’ve been away from home, hence why they haven’t left any messages on my voicemail. Bright and early at 9 AM today, I got yet another ring. The chap on the other end introduced himself as Daniel and, upon further questioning, proclaimed he was from the Router Department down in London, supposedly about my internet issues. What utter balderdash! It makes you wonder about the effectiveness of the Telephone Preference Service and the ICO. Despite having caller ID, it seems these nuisance callers are relentless in their interruptions!

Really won’t take no for an answer! Got a call earlier claiming there was an issue with my PC and asking me to turn it on and do as they said. I decided to humour them for a bit, mainly just to see how long they’d keep it up, until I told them I wasn’t near a computer and that I was onto their scam. Fair play to the woman on the other end, she genuinely seemed shocked that I knew it was bogus... who do they think they’re fooling?! Might trick someone who’s not so sharp, but the thick accent and their refusal to give any personal details should make anyone suspicious, surely!

Got a ring from these people asking about the owner of a computer I have at home. I asked them straight up why they needed that info and who exactly they were. She then went on about my computer's Windows licence running out. I just told her, well alright but what’s that got to do with you? My PC’s already been updated anyway, so I just blocked the number using my phone’s call blocker. ๐Ÿ˜„ Next time they try, the blocker’ll stop them dead in their tracks. Sorted!
