i highly recommend getting something like ‘sky shield’ or bt’s call protection from your provider, it stops these annoying calls dead in their tracks. this number has tried ringing me loads of times but my phone never makes a sound. out of 44 calls in the past month, only 7 actually went through, and those were from mates and people i know. it’s such a relief and honestly cuts down on a lot of hassle. the only downside is i miss having the fun of messing with them when i’m in the mood!

I got a call this morning around 8:30, and the person said they were from an appliance service company. But when I asked which company, they wouldn’t say. They’ve called me a couple times before just hanging up straight away.

Got a call just after 8 this morning. nobody said a word then the phone suddenly disconnected. proper annoying if you ask me. after checking out the reviews here, i’ve decided to block the number.

Someone rang claiming to be offering cover for home appliances, but I don’t even have a policy with them. When I began asking a few questions, the person just hung up. This is the sixth time in just three days I’ve had calls like this, all from different phone numbers. I’ve reported each one to the Information Commissioner’s Office. If more people did the same, maybe these callers could be tracked down.

Got the same annoying caller again, keeps asking for my account number to start a direct debit. I block one number, then they ring from another one straight away. Proper persistent, can't seem to get rid of them!

Received a call from 0203 4589083 to my BT landline here in London on the morning of 28th Nov 2020. At first, there was nothing but silence, then I heard some people chatting in the background followed by laughter. Suddenly, the call just ended. I've blocked the number 1572 straight away and also reported it to the scams authorities. Cheers for the advice shared here, really helped!

As soon as my answering machine came on, the person just hung up straight away, what a pain!

This bloke calling was the usual scam, telling me I’m paying more than £210 for some appliance cover. When I asked how he even knew that or where he got my info from, he just hung up on me! Such a dodgy move.

I missed a call from this number earlier and decided to call back, but when I did, it automatically said the number isn't valid or something like that. Quite weird!
