3 yearsHad a few calls come through, but I chose not to pick up.3 yearsI had a rather curious encounter with a lad who presented himself as a representative of an organisation supposedly gathering funds for the UNHCR. He was quite charming in his approach, attempting to convince me over the phone to make a contribution for those affected by the recent earthquakes. However, I was wary and declined, as one can never be entirely certain it’s not a ruse. I mentioned that I’d prefer to donate via the internet instead. He graciously accepted my decision and we concluded the call on good terms. The truth is, I can’t ascertain whether he was legitimate or not, but I’m certainly not one to disclose my banking details to someone I’ve never met.UNHCRSubmit Your Own Report (020 3455 9382)
