7 yearsI had a rather unpleasant experience lately when someone rang, claiming our number had popped up on their system. When I inquired about having it removed, they insisted that we should take responsibility for our own number. It seems BT is utterly useless in situations like this. To top it off, the caller was exceptionally rude, peppering their speech with colourful language. Oh, this is the state of affairs in England today - it's as though the criminals run riot while innocent folks bear the brunt, and the companies that should be overseeing these matters remain completely inactive. Honestly, I could just as easily get hold of a number and start ringing everyone myself - the caller’s been identified as Trading.England7 yearsI received a call claiming our number was registered in their system. When I requested they delete it, the chap on the other end told me we ought to take responsibility for our own number. Apparently, BT doesn't lift a finger to help with these matters. To top it off, he was quite vulgar, peppering his speech with expletives. This is the reality of living in England nowadays! It feels excessively indulgent towards those committing shady dealings while the innocent ones foot the bill, as these companies seem utterly lackadaisical about taking action against the wrongdoers.
