So, yesterday, 6th May 2019, I got a call from a landline 02034554573. It started with some recorded message that made me press 1, then this bloke with an Asian accent came on and said he knew my name, telling me there was a lawsuit over unpaid tax and that the Police might arrest me if I didn’t sort it out. Has anyone else had one of these?

My 92 year old dad got calls from this number. It started with a weird recorded message where the start was muffled, saying something about tax fraud and money laundering. They told him to press 1 to chat with some claims officer. These calls kept coming back again and again. It's clearly a scam trying to trick older people. I've even seen a local police alert about it, saying they ask for certain amounts to be handed over to a courier. This has to be shut down. Make sure to tell older family members about this!
