I answered the phone with a simple hello and could hear what sounded like a busy call centre in the background, but then suddenly the line went dead.

My mum’s 78 and quite vulnerable, and these idiots keep calling her asking about her NI number. Honestly, if I find out who they are, they’re in big trouble. It’s disgusting how they target old people like that. Everyone, watch out for these scumbags!

Got a call from some so-called law enforcement about my national insurance number. Really dodgy, they shouldnt be cold calling us like that without any permission. They rang at 5.23pm, just as I was walking through the door after work. Proper suspicious call.

this number kept ringing me yesterday, just like I’ve seen others have too, it was at least three or four calls all in one day and everytime they tried the same old trick about a supposed warrant for my arrest.

My elderly neighbour keeps getting nonstop calls and she’s really worried about them. I told her it’s probably rubbish or maybe even a scam, so the best thing she can do is just put the phone down and ignore them.

Got a call from 02034554525 thrice today at 1:18pm, 2:34pm and then again at 4:11pm. They kept saying something about “pressing to carry out an arrest warrant”. Quite odd and suspicious, if you ask me.

I've had a couple of calls from HMRC recently. I didn’t press any buttons because it felt a bit dodgy. The call came across as a bit threatening, and looks like I'm not the only one getting them.

Like many have mentioned, it’s one of those recorded calls from HRC about some arrest warrant. They tell you to press 1, but there’s no way I’m falling for that.
