Got a call from this number, someone said they were from VT or something, said my internet was having issues. Then they mentioned they’d be sending out a free router to fix it or whatever.

Normally there’s no answer but out of the blue some bloke started talking about taxes before I just hung up on him.

The scam's still going strong, just had a laugh with them earlier. Was juggling calls from three different phones, kept buzzing them with 141 before the number - that's the trick. Funny enough, they kept bringing up my mum quite a bit!

Don't pick up, just let it go on ringing. This number came up on my caller ID.

Got loads of calls pretending to be from some tax enforcement lot, telling me to ring a number with an NHS code to talk to a case officer. Definitely a scam, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone pretending I owed taxes, told me to call some premium number. Of course it was one of those automated messages where you can't even tell it to do one. Absolute scam.

This number has called me a few times today. Every time I answer, there's nothing on the other end before it suddenly hangs up. Proper annoying, especially when I'm trying to enjoy the holiday!

I just got a recorded message claiming my NI number’s been suspended, sounded like a South Asian bloke speaking. These scammers really grind my gears. Back when I worked in my old job, I came across loads of South Asian folks, but from my experience, quite a few were untrustworthy and dishonest, even the so-called professionals. Honestly, it makes me want to do something drastic to stop these con artists.

Honestly, people calling on a bank holiday to try their sneaky tricks are just plain daft. What makes them think being all sly is going to work? Just stop ringing me on days like this, it’s so obvious they’re up to no good! Absolute muppets!

I had no clue what he was saying, it was just gibberish to me.

I just got a voicemail that wasn’t even meant for me, talking about my NI number being suspended due to some money laundering and tax stuff. They even threatened with execution, which is just insane. Absolutely bizarre!

Since Wednesday, I've been getting a voicemail every single day from this number, something about the police and my NI number being frozen. It's such a waste of time - I know it's a total scam. But I guess for every hundred calls they make, they might trick some older person out there. Watch out for these lot, they’re dangerous.

Got a call from some dodgy folks claiming to be police officers. Totally sketchy and felt like a scam. Watch out!

Warning, this was a scam call! I got an automated message claiming it was from HMRC saying my National Insurance number was on hold. They gave a phone number to ring back but I didn’t catch it fast enough. Definitely a dodgy call.

Absolute bunch of nasty scammers, can't stand those cheats.

I'm really fed up with this now. In just two days, I’ve had half a dozen calls from three separate numbers, all spouting the same rubbish about some kind of law enforcement issue. It’s about time telephone providers took stronger action and made these scam callers face legal consequences. I can block their numbers on my phone, but they just keep switching to different ones. It’s so annoying!

I got a call pretty late on Sunday, about 8.43pm, and they left a message on my answerphone. Then, yesterday, I found two more messages from them, all talking nonsense about some lawsuit against me. I really don’t need this stress, especially since my mum passed away on Sunday. Only just managed to listen to all three messages this morning. Honestly, it’s so heartless.

On Sunday night around 8.43, I got a call that went to voicemail. They left two messages yesterday about some lawsuit involving Meldon, totally unwanted at the moment. My mum passed away that same day, and I only just heard the three messages this morning. It felt so heartless.

It’s terrible how they target elderly folks with these scary calls about lawsuits against them. Someone seriously needs to put an end to this - don’t these people have any compassion?

Got called again for the second time today. The person on the line claimed they were from the police and said there was a legal case against me, and that my National Insurance had been blocked. They told me to call a specific number to talk to an officer. Thing is, they never asked for my name, so how could they know who I was? If they don’t have a name, how could they have my NI details? These kinds of calls are really worrying and should be shut down ASAP.

This number has rung me up 3 times just today and quite a few times over the past few months too. I usually just ignore it. They left a voicemail on my answering machine once.

I've had calls from them twice today, just like others have said. They rang both this number and one from abroad. It's really filling up my voicemail!

Just got a call from someone saying there’s a warrant out for me and something about national insurance not getting any more money or something. It’s really scary, especially for older folks. My mum rang me afterwards just to make sure the number was right. Honestly, these calls need to be stopped, they cause too much worry.

I got a couple of calls from some bloke's recorded voice saying I'd got a lawsuit against me and my National Insurance number was supposedly frozen. They told me to press 2 to talk to someone handling my case. Honestly, it was a pretty rubbish scam, as they clearly had no clue who they were ringing - could've been absolutely anyone answering the phone. I guess older people might fall for this and get stressed out, so it definitely deserves a proper look into.

Got a call telling me there’s a legal case against me and if I want to speak to the officer handling it, I have to press the second option. Sounds fishy to me!

Happened to me too, no way I’ve done anything wrong, nothing compromised. They said there’s a warrant out for my arrest and I could face 9 years in prison for fraud. Told me not to tell anyone and to transfer money into some holding account right away. Seems like they’re going after older folks. This needs to be cracked down on!

Got three calls from this number and left messages on my answerphone each time. Definitely seems like some sort of scam.
