I received a call from a lady sporting a distinct foreign accent, claiming to discuss my life insurance policy with AVIVA and Legal & General. However, I was under the impression that those two companies don’t collaborate. Has something changed that I’m unaware of?

I think it was some sort of life insurance place? They spoke so quickly I couldn’t understand a word and when I asked them to say it again, they just hung up on me.

They just keep doing the same lame thing. Ring me up, mumble some unclear excuse, and the moment you ask any questions, they just cut off the call. Best just to block these numbers straight away.

Got a call from a guy with a strong accent, chatting about life insurance. There was loads of noise in the background, sounded like a call centre. I told him to take my info off their list and never ring me again. I've blocked the number since.

Got a call from this number earlier, and some bloke with an Indian accent said his name was Derek. He claimed he wanted to discuss my life insurance. I quickly told him it sounded like a scam and hung up straight away. I don’t have any life insurance at all since I’m single, no kids or dependants, and never bothered with that sort of thing!
