I wasn’t sure at first, thought it might be spam so I picked up. A woman with a foreign accent started going on about renewing my TV insurance. I was like, what insurance? She went on about cover for repairs, parts, remotes and all that. Then she told me I’d paid about £140 last time and it’s expired now. I told her that couldn’t be right, I don’t have any such insurance. She insisted I had to renew it. I explained I get protection included from the seller, like Currys, so there’s nothing to renew. She kept pushing for my bank details though. Yeah, no thanks, mate.
