Got a call from this number claiming to be verifying my broadband details. They asked me to confirm some info so I just ended the call. Then I phoned Sky customer support and they told me it wasn’t them calling. Definitely dodgy.

Got a really annoying call out of the blue today. Didn't ask for it or anything, just kept ringing. Proper irritating!

I missed their call, it was from Domestic and General, I think. When I rang back, an automated message said it was just a courtesy call and I didn't need to keep calling. I'd recently arranged a warranty fix with Candy, so it was likely connected to that.

Today I got a call from some bloke saying he's from Sky, asking about my broadband and if I thought it was safe. He obviously didn’t know a single thing about my actual Sky contract, so I’m convinced he was pretending. Seems pretty dodgy to me! Be careful, this sounds risky.

this number rang me about a mis-sold ppi claim i supposedly had. they said they were calling from the county court in london to send over a cheque for £3100. to my surprise, they actually posted me the cheque for that amount. honestly, i’m over the moon to get this after waiting so long. felt like a nice unexpected present from my bank. big thanks to the dispatch team at the county court of london for standing up for people like us. really appreciate the good work you’re doing.

figured id share this in case anyone else gets called from this number. The guy said he was ringing from sky, supposedly a welcome call since im a new customer. Then he started asking about the gadgets we use at home and mentioned that domestic & general have a deal going on for 3 months free insurance on devices. I told him ive had issues with domestic & general before and wasnt interested. He then just cut me off pretty abruptly. So, I reckon he wasnt actually from sky, probably just a rep for domestic & general instead.
