I got a call from Lloyds Bank Fraud Dept following a text they sent me the day before. They said my debit card was used without permission on some US site called Build[###]. The person on the phone asked for my full name, dob and address then told me to cancel my debit card straight away, which I did. They said a new card would arrive within a few days. They never asked for any password or memorable details. I checked my debit card status on the Lloyds app right after and saw it was already cancelled, only my credit card was shown. Feels like the call was legit to me.

Hello. Today, on November 10th, 2021, I received three recorded phone calls from someone claiming to be from Halifax Bank. They informed me that someone had been using my debit card and instructed me to call back a phone number they provided. The call I received was an automated message, and they addressed me by my full name. After the call ended, I used the 1471 service and discovered that the number was 0203443650, which many others have also reported as part of a scam. Tomorrow morning, I will contact my bank to report this incident. The only issue is that I did not manage to note down the number they wanted me to call back; all I remember is that it began with '03'.

Definitely Lloyds Bank. An individual attempted to make a payment to Vodafone brand. I can confirm its validity because they did not request any of my bank or personal information.
