A number of my mates and I have been bombarded with menacing phone calls from individuals impersonating police officers, claiming they were collecting fines.

Came across some warnings on Twitter that this number rings up pretending you’ve got a fine to pay right away or else they’ll arrest you. Seems like a classic scam since you’d usually get a letter before any of that. Just a heads up to everyone to be careful and keep an eye out for calls from this number. Stay safe!
