Got a call claiming they were working on behalf of 3, offering some new sim only deal. Tried to get me to set up a direct debit straight away. When I asked if they needed my bank info, they threw me to a supervisor who kept pushing really hard. Said they'd ring me again later since I didn’t give in, but I’m not picking up that one.

Got a call from some Indian call centre pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse. They were super dodgy and couldn’t answer simple questions like how they got my info when I’ve never even been a Carphone Warehouse customer or shared my details with them. When I asked them to prove they weren’t scammers, all they did was keep saying “oh, oh” like they’d run out of answers. Totally sketchy!

Got a call from 0208 638 6879, bloke claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, sounded like he had a really thick Asian accent. He didn’t stop pestering me, then handed me over to his so-called “Manager”. That guy soon revealed his true colours, shouting loads of rude and threatening stuff down the phone. Total con job, definitely a SCAM.

Got multiple calls from this number in just one day, but no message was ever left. Tried ringing it back from my work landline and got a recorded message about some kind of fault. When I finally picked up on another occasion, there was nothing but silence on the other side.

Each day around 1:45 PM, I pick up the phone, but there's never a response. Instead, I can always hear faint voices in the background. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

Got a call from someone pretending to be Carphone Warehouse, saying they had a new deal for me. But I found the number through my own provider, so there's no way Carphone Warehouse could have it. Definitely seems like one of those scam calls.

Just had a right old palaver with someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, saying they'd like to 'buy out' my 24-month contract, when I’m merely 10 months in! I enjoy winding them up since I've got a decent grasp on telecoms. The chap rambled on about offers across the various networks like EE and O2, so I decided to call him out. I told him that Carphone Warehouse only sells Vodafone and iD contracts these days. He hadn’t a clue what iD Mobile was, which made me chuckle! Utter fraudsters, the lot of them.
