Got a call from some DELTA company, whoever they are, and it really feels like one of those insulation scams. They probably want me to book a free inspection, like I did ages ago, then suddenly they'll claim there’s lots that needs fixing and try to charge way too much. Not falling for that rubbish again!

Some bloke speaking English rang up, said he was from Data Systems and wanted to know if I owned my home and what kind of insulation’s in my loft. He mentioned some government scheme that lets me get insulation for free or something like that. Apparently, their surveyors were working nearby right now. Sounded like one of those familiar lines I’ve heard a million times. I told him I’d look into the number online first and would ring back if it seemed legit. Didn’t fancy taking any chances though, so I just blocked the number straight away.
