Got a call about some cover for the cooker and washing machine, claiming we were due a refund because we've been customers for ages. My mum, who’s quite old, started sharing some info but I jumped in before she gave too much away. Felt dodgy to me, definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Total SCAM. They keep going on about some Washing Machine Maintenance Cover I supposedly have - I don’t have any such thing! It’s just a load of rubbish. They even tried ringing me from a different number recently, spouting the same nonsense.

Got a call claiming it was from HMRC saying there was action being taken against me. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone. Totally a scam!
