About a week ago, we began receiving calls from this particular number around lunchtime and in the afternoon. The phone would ring briefly and then disconnect before our answering machine could pick up. I've decided to stop answering calls from unfamiliar numbers. If the call is important, the caller can leave a message on our machine. However, most of these annoying callers simply hang up as soon as the machine activates.
