Once again, I’ve received yet another postcard, prompting me to investigate this SCAM anew... and, lo and behold, not a thing has altered! Same old number 02034328070 (which gets rerouted to some overseas destination - yet you still cough up for the local UK call charge starting with 020), and the identical message - apparently, I've won a staggering £183,997.00, along with a complimentary Garnet & Pearl Pendant (what a delight!). However, there’s a catch - they want me to fork out a mere £15 shipping fee using any range of cards (Eurocard, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa).... IS THAT SO? It’s rather amusing given that I’ve allegedly won this massive sum, yet somehow they can’t seem to cover a paltry £15 fee themselves. Shocked? Not in the slightest! I hung up right away, of course.
