I just realised I didn't mention the number earlier - it's 02031291954. Thanks a lot!

I've been getting calls of a similar nature, with ominous threats about legal action if I fail to return their calls. I had the sense not to ring back, fully aware that it's nothing more than a scam, and let's be honest, our legal system doesn’t function in such a manner. Considering the number of complaints lodged against this number, why on earth can't BT take action and just block it?

I’ve received that same call on three separate occasions now, and I’ve reached out to the local police about it. They've given me the same advice as what others have been saying here.

I encountered a similar situation today, and I've gone ahead and flagged it to the national fraud squad. What a complete fool! My only hope is that he doesn't prey on some vulnerable elderly person! I'd love to see him behind bars, although I have my doubts that will happen!

Just half an hour ago, I received a rather alarming call from someone named Paul, who had quite the strong Indian accent. He claimed I was a prime suspect in some matter, which absolutely sent me through the roof. I demanded he provide more information, and amidst my rising frustration, my voice escalated too. Consequently, he hung up on me. To my astonishment, I managed to trace the number online and rang him back, this time maintaining my composure. When I started to speak, he told me not to interrupt, and after just a few brief words, he cut the line again. Upon further investigating the number, it became clear that I’d stumbled upon a scam of sorts. My real concern now is how on earth this sort of nonsense can be conducted so brazenly. Where exactly is the law in all of this to put a stop to such outrageous behaviour?

I received a similar message myself - when I rang back, I couldn’t help but chuckle, pointing out that our judicial system doesn’t operate like that. The bloke on the other end lost his temper, yelled, and abruptly cut the call. It’s obvious this is a dodgy scheme!

Has anyone else had a call from this number? I had a chat with British Gas customer support about my bill, and I can't shake the feeling that the chap on the other end might actually be affiliated with them, perhaps using information he shouldn’t have. If you've had any dealings with British Gas, I'd strongly advise reaching out to them to flag this situation. Better safe than sorry!

I recently contacted the National Fraud Line, and I can’t stress enough how imperative it is to reach out if you receive a call from them. If they happen to leave a voicemail, make sure to save it as proof. This particular number has been reported numerous times, along with others spinning similar tales. It’s crucial not to fall for it. If there was any legitimate legal action against you, you would receive proper written notification from an accredited solicitor via post, or directly from the authorities if an arrest were imminent, or even from the court itself. Such matters are never communicated over a phone call or a voicemail like this.

I received a rather unsettling phone call from someone claiming to be a solicitor based in Bishopsgate. They alleged that I was considered a key suspect in some incident and insisted on acquiring the name of my senior legal advisor. They threatened that if I didn’t return their call within a short span, I would be in hot water. At that moment, I decided it was best to hang up the phone.

I typically don’t receive many calls of this sort, and when I do, I tend to dismiss them as they never leave any voicemail. However, similar to others here, I experienced the very same situation - a chap claiming to be a solicitor, insisting that I was being taken to court and that a hearing was scheduled in my local county court (without specifying which one, mind you) in just three-quarters of an hour, demanding that I returned his call. I didn't bother to listen to the rest of the message and promptly erased it.

I've had a similar experience with a call from that number. When I asked the chap to send me the details in writing, he abruptly hung up. It was as if he was just following a pre-written script and couldn’t think beyond those lines. Honestly, he’s got to be the least competent lawyer I’ve ever come across!

Without question, a complete scam. I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, purporting to be from Paul & Allen Solicitors, insisting that the police would be arriving at my workplace today to make an arrest. Strangely, he didn’t even seem to be aware that today is a bank holiday. I've had numerous similar calls in the past. I warned this chap that I'd track down his identity and make him regret it. Now, he claims he's sending officers to my residence. I’m quite looking forward to it. This tactic generally deters them, and I've never had the same crooks reach out to me a second time.

I'm quite anxious, to be honest. I've received multiple calls from this number, and it's causing me a great deal of stress. I’m terrified of facing legal trouble, and the thought of it is making me consider paying them off. I’ve hardly had a decent night’s sleep since their initial call last week. If anyone has any advice or can assist, I’d really appreciate it!

I’ve been bombarded with calls over the last couple of days-specifically on the 23rd and 24th of May 2013-by this number, threatening me with imminent arrest within 45 minutes and the possibility of losing my job and all sorts of nonsense. It’s clearly a scam! It’s outrageous that these individuals can operate with such impunity. If anyone should be facing the law, it’s this caller for their harrowing harassment tactics!

I've received some alarming threats of legal action, demanding that I cough up a hefty £399.00 within just 45 minutes for an alleged debt I'm completely unaware of. The caller claimed that legal documents had already been issued, which sent me into a right panic. However, after stumbling upon this website, I realised it was all a hoax. It's beyond me why these scammers can't be shut down for good.

My dear grandmother has received three rather distressing phone calls from this number, threatening her with a visit from the police. Naturally, she was quite shaken and reached out to me for assistance. I've taken the liberty of informing the police about these calls, and they provided me with a contact for the national scam hotline. I urge anyone else who may be experiencing similar issues to reach out to them as well. The more reports they gather, the quicker they can take action to halt this nonsense. The number for reporting is 03001232040. Let’s all do our bit to protect ourselves and our loved ones!

Received a couple of calls from this number on the 23rd of May, 2013. They purported to be from a legal firm attempting to deliver some documents to me and seemed to know my home address. I'm just going to disregard it for now. I've searched high and low, but it appears there's no law firm by that name, nor can I locate a practitioner with the name they provided. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Is there really no way to deal with this chap, Brian White, who’s been calling from Paul and Allen? He’s been ringing people up and scaring them with threats of job losses and losing their homes, which is just infuriating! I’ve attempted to block his number, but that hasn’t done a thing. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions on how to tackle this, I would be most grateful!

I received a rather alarming call yesterday, followed by three more today, claiming that the police were on their way to my workplace and home unless I coughed up £420 within the next 45 minutes. What a ludicrous situation! They clearly didn't realise that my father is a judge. Once he got on the line with them, they promptly hung up. When he tried to ring back, they insisted that they had never contacted me at all. I’ve got the voicemails saved, and honestly, I reckon it’s the same individual making all these calls; their voices sound remarkably similar!

Received a call in the early hours from someone claiming to be a senior solicitor. When I rang back, I was informed that the police were apparently on a conference call, then the person abruptly hung up. It's all rather amusing, really! Classic scam tactics, if you ask me. Save yourself the bother, whoever's behind this - it's not worth your time!

I received a rather dubious call earlier today from these clowns who insisted they were dispatching the police to my workplace to apprehend me over a supposed debt of £498. I've already reached out to the Ministry of Justice, and they've assured me it's all a con. If they ring again, just let them know you're onto their little game and that you're reporting their number to the authorities. Trust me, they’ll vanish faster than you can say 'scam'.

I received a rather amusing phone call from a chap with an Indian accent, insisting he was from a law firm and warning me that the police were on their way! Quite the spectacle, I must say! They even left a voicemail, which I shall forward to the authorities, as it's important to take such scams and intimidation seriously. One mustn't underestimate the lengths to which scammers will go, eh?

I’ve just received yet another ominous message on my mobile, claiming that the police will be heading to my workplace. I really don’t comprehend why the authorities aren’t taking action regarding this situation. It’s rather unsettling, to say the least.

I just received a call from this number, and they left a rather alarming voicemail claiming I’d be facing arrest within the next 45 minutes. This is utterly ridiculous! They even suggested I should hire a lawyer. What on earth is going on?

I recently received a rather alarming voicemail on my mobile, warning me that I would face grave trouble with the police if I didn’t return the call today. Apparently, this chap who goes by the name of Brian White, and who seems to have an Indian accent, is in quite the rush. He also rang me at home last night, which was rather unsettling. I can't say I'm particularly chuffed about this sort of intimidation. Any debts I have are well and truly settled, and I refuse to be bullied like this. It’s high time these types of calls were put to an end.

This morning, I had a rather troubling phone call from some solicitors claiming to be Paul & Allen, purporting to act on behalf of the Ministry of Justice in the UK. They were adamant that I owed a debt of £354 and threatened that if I didn't settle up immediately, the police would come knocking at my door within the hour to arrest me for theft. I first spoke with someone named Daniel Roberts, who instructed me to ring back on the same number and request to speak to the Senior Lawyer. That led me to a chap named John Hudson. All of them had distinctly Indian accents and were quite evasive when I pressed for more details. I got so frustrated that I raised my voice, and he promptly hung up. What utter vermin! It's outrageous! Did they genuinely think I’d send them money over the phone? The unfortunate reality is that some unsuspecting individuals might fall for this ruse without a second thought. Using the Ministry of Justice as a prop is utterly despicable!

I've been on the receiving end of the same nasty threats from this number.

I've taken the matter into my own hands and reported them to the local constabulary and the National Fraud Bureau.

Just brush them off and firmly yet courteously say, "I'M AWARE THIS IS A SCAM, SO YOU WON'T BE GETTING ANYTHING FROM ME... CHEERS!"

These dodgy calls can be quite unsettling, but honestly, just ignore them. Pour yourself a cuppa, relax, and carry on with your day-life's far too precious to let these unscrupulous individuals get you worked up!

Absolutely infuriating! This individual has left me four messages on my voicemail, and honestly, I could barely make out what they were saying. From what I could gather, something about a lawsuit was mentioned, and he threatened to involve the police if I didn’t ring this number back. I've chosen to ignore it entirely, but I must admit, it’s a tad unsettling, especially considering that someone more susceptible could be in a right pickle with such nonsense!

This person was shouting at me to hire a solicitor, claiming I'm being taken to court, but honestly, I'm utterly baffled as to why???
