Got a call from this number but they hung up just as I was about to pick up - didn’t leave any voicemail. I'm on the TPS list so shouldn’t be getting any unwanted sales calls, and I only share my number with close mates and family. Blocked them and reported it to TPS and ICO.

When I picked up, I asked, "Are you a scammer or a fraudster?" The person on the other end quickly said, "Oops, wrong number, sorry." I then asked how he could be sure it was the wrong number when he never even asked who I was, but he just ended the call. Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Another day, another scam call :-( They’re faking the number again. Just think about it - if you’ve got the Telephone Preference Service and your number shows on caller ID, a proper company wouldn’t ring you up ‘cause they’d risk getting fined. And those calls from withheld numbers? Could be anyone. So how come I’m getting random calls from all sorts of places every day? Doesn’t sound like anything but a scam to me!

As individuals with disabilities, we find it incredibly challenging to receive phone calls, especially those unwanted nuisance calls. The constant stream of such calls can be highly disruptive and overwhelming. We often struggle to navigate through this frustrating situation as the calls just seem to never cease.

I have been receiving multiple calls from this particular number, and I am extremely fed up with it. Every time I answer, it turns out to be a silent call, and they usually hang up as soon as I speak.

It's happened again, I received yet another call from 020334322887, even though I have registered with the TPS. This time, a woman of Asian or West Indian descent was persistently trying to sell me a boiler. Sensibly, I asked for a contact number so I could verify the legitimacy of the call and protect myself against potential scams. To my surprise, she immediately ended the call.

It is quite clear that a recurring scam is taking place, as an individual with an Asian accent calls me once a week, despite being in England. They insist on selling me services such as central heating and a new boiler, targeting individuals on benefits. It begs the question, why hasn't anyone taken action against this? I already pay around £240 every quarter for my television, internet, and phone services. Why should I be subjected to additional expenses?

Got a call from "Ace" about boilers for people on benefits. When I told him to stop calling, he said they don’t have to follow the TPS because it’s not a marketing call. I asked why they were ringing if that’s true, and told him they’ve called me loads of times despite me saying no. This is just harrassment now and honestly, this company should be shut down for pestering people like this.

02034322887 - Someone ringing about boilers for folks on benefits. Said they were calling from the Philippines, trying to collect details on benefit claimants to pass on to an advisor in Newcastle. They went through Bernard, then Jed, and lastly Mark, chatting for about 15 minutes before just dropping the call. Complete time wasters, these scammers. Same here, loads of calls from benefits scammers. I'm on the TPS but they seem to dodge it by using what looks like a fake UK number from outside the country. Got no idea how they got my number, probably passed around loads of times, doubt I'll ever know. Wish there was some law to ban selling these phone lists on and on. I've told them loads of times to remove me but they still keep ringing.

The same scammer everyday :-( using fake numbers. Just think about it - if you’re on the Telephone Preference Service list and have caller ID, a real company wouldn’t bother ringing you cause they’d risk a fine. Plus, a hidden number can be anyone. So, how can these random calls from everywhere be anything else but a scam???

This number shows up on our caller ID but the phone never actually rings thanks to BT Call Guardian. It's set to screen all unknown numbers and makes callers say their name before it lets the call go through, giving us the option to answer, hang up, or block. Since they never say who they are, they've just wasted their time and probably got charged for the call, haha!

These boiler people who call saying you’re on benefits have hassled me like 100 times from this number and about 7 different ones as well. I've told them over and over to stop calling and remove me from their list but no luck. I've reported them since they keep ringing even though my number’s on the TPS register. Now I just ignore calls from unknown numbers. They’re also pestering my elderly and disabled neighbour, which is just awful. It’s clear they’re just trying to trick folks into losing money, and the longer you chat on the phone, the worse it gets.

Im on benefits and got a call about it, listened carefully and turns out ive had a boiler fitted via that scheme. Even tho its a proper call, they keep phoning me which is a bit annoying.

Another day, another scam call :-( using fake numbers. Just think about it - if you’re on the Telephone Preference Service list and your number shows up, a genuine company wouldn’t ring you as they’d risk getting fined. And hidden numbers? Anyone can be behind them. So how can all these random calls coming from everywhere in the country be anything but scams???

Can someone block these numbers? They’re really annoying and go quiet as soon as I answer.

Calls keep coming nonstop and no messages are ever left. I’m getting these calls every day now. Really think something needs to be done about it.

I have been receiving numerous calls from this particular number in the past few days. Every time I answer, there is complete silence, which indicates that it is an automated calling system. It feels unsettling to receive so many calls where nobody is on the other end.

Getting calls nearly every day about free boilers is just pure harassment at this point.

They keep calling but never bother to leave any voicemail.

Just go ahead and block the number.

Try to block it if you are able to. It is often a typical type of sales pitch that we encounter.

I managed to find out they’re [#]boilergrants[###] from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. They called me, I answered, but it went dead silent, though I heard kids playing in the background, like they dialled me by mistake. I stayed on the line and kept saying "hello, is anyone there?" till someone finally picked up. I then questioned them and dug out that info, gave them a hard time too, not that they deserved much kindness. Another firm pulling the same stunt is [#]nmenergy[###] based in Nelson, Lancs. Gave them a piece of my mind as well.

I receive regular calls from this number. It usually rings, but when I answer, the call suddenly ends. It's really infuriating and bothersome!

I keep gettin calls from some 'boiler on benefits' call centre and when I asked them to stop and take me off their list, they just hung up. They ring me like 2 or 3 times every week for ages now. Honestly, they should be closed down.

I answered and they just hung up on me, no one said a word. Looks like it could be a scam number from what others mentioned here.

Typical idiots claiming folks on benefits can have the government cover the cost of a new boiler. Honestly, these are the kind of people who drain the system, leeching money from taxpayers and then having the nerve to fool honest workers with their lies. They really ought to be taken to court, and the penalties should be hefty enough to actually discourage this kind of behaviour.

They said I'd get a "free new boiler" but it’s totally a scam. I've blocked the number, but they keep ringing me from other ones. So annoying!

I kept getting calls from some Benefits number all the time. Got a bit annoying so now I just don’t bother answering when they ring anymore. Better to ignore it than waste time dealing with it.

Quite frustrating, I must say. Consistently receiving phone calls, from different numbers, with some even displaying as Private Number to conceal their identity. The irritating part is that they always play the same repetitive recorded message about boilers and benefits!
