I received a call from someone claiming to be from Metro Bank. They requested information regarding my Metro card and then went on to ask for the code that had just been sent to me. Unfortunately, I caught on a bit too late and discovered that the code was meant to authorise their fraudulent transaction. As a result, my funds were taken from me. So, just to clarify, it’s a complete scam.
